OctoGvng is a global, multigenre producer collective with members across the U.S., France, Bulgaria, Italy, Ukraine, Canada, Egypt, Russia, and Jamaica. Founded in 2020 by Grammy-winning engineer and producer Boyan “65lanta” Stanchev, the collective brings producers and creatives from different parts of the world together through music.
The name OctoGvng comes from the way the collective works. Like an octopus, there are many arms connected to one body. Members work from different countries, bring their own styles and backgrounds, and still move as one group.
There is no single OctoGvng sound. The collective works across hip-hop, trap, R&B, Afrobeats, reggae, country, folk, pop, and music for film, television, sports, advertising, and other sync projects. Some members specialize in certain genres, while others move between them. That range allows OctoGvng to work with artists from different backgrounds without forcing every record into the same style.
That global approach can be heard across OctoGvng’s singles, full projects, and collaborations. The collective’s work includes “Big Pimpin,” produced by Slime Kid from Kyiv and SadBoy91 and featuring Nigerian artist Tripppy. Projects like this show how producers and artists from different parts of the world can come together on the same record.
OctoGvng also goes beyond making beats. Members contribute production, songwriting, engineering, sound design, visuals, and creative ideas. The collective works with independent and established artists, while also creating music for opportunities beyond traditional artist releases.
At its core, OctoGvng is built around range and collaboration. Different countries, different genres, different sounds, and different perspectives all come together under one collective. The goal is not for every member to sound alike. It is to give each creator room to bring their own sound while being part of something bigger.
